HAIR by Christine & Co. is an inclusive, independently owned hair salon in Somerville, Massachusetts, founded by Christine McSheehy in 2011. What began as Somerville Native, Christine’s dream has grown into a talented team of artists who genuinely love helping people feel confident, seen, and completely themselves.

Our salon is known for creative and vivid color, blonding, balayage, dimensional color, gray blending, curly hair, precision cutting, extensions, wigs, scalp care, and gender-affirming services. Every stylist brings their own specialties, personality, and creativity to the team, allowing clients to find an artist who truly understands their hair, their lifestyle, and the experience they want in the chair.

Christine’s biggest passions are creative color and teaching people how to understand and love their natural curls. Whether we’re creating a rainbow transformation, helping someone embrace their texture, transitioning into their natural gray, or designing a haircut that finally feels like them, our goal is always bigger than simply doing hair.
